My name is Adam and I’m passionate advocate of High Intensity Strength Training and 8 Laws Of Health to maximize results in minimum time. I started my journey with basketball when I was very young and due to various sport related injuries, including herniated L4/L5 disk in my lower back I was confined to stay in bed for weeks, I could not sit, stand or walk for more than few minutes This injury led me to a long term issues with my spine and depression. My GP prescribed me pile of pain killers witch I reacted to very badly. As a result I lost appetites and in turn lean muscle mass and became weaker in the process. I was told I will never play sports again when I was only 19 years old.. After few months of constant pain I finally decided to consult an Osteopath Doctor to look for alternative solutions. I was given a set of home strengthening exercises to focus on fixing the problem and preventing further muscle loss. It worked so well I fell in love with strength training and began to study the subject of musculoskeletal system. I became a qualified Personal Trainer in 2006 with YMCA in London and started work for Leisure Club Marriott International the same year.
In 2012 I became part of Swiss establishment Kieser Training in London who specialize in back pain along with other musculoskeletal issues. I had privilege to work with Physiotherapist and Osteopath for 5 years and I delivered thousands of 1-on-1 sessions with customers and became Medical Strength Therapist. Since 2016 I am offering In Home and Virtual 1-on-1 Training for people who don’t like overcrowded, smelly, loud gyms and rather conduct workouts at the comfort of their own home, garden or whenever they might prefer to train under supervision. Experiencing my back pain was a turning point in my life and now I;m walking the talk of a pain free life in the body God gave me to look and care for. Restore Strength is a blog / vlog that I am creating to help people over 40 to be physically stronger, healthier and independent for life. It is a platform where I share my 15 years of experience in High Intensity Strength Training with people just like you and also update my own knowledge. During 2020 covid-19 lockdown in London I decided to reach all my clients via internet and started 1-on-1 virtual strength training. I’m passionate about 8 Laws Of Health including nutrition, exercise, water, sunshine, temperance, air, rest and trust. I truly believe our bodies are “fearfully and wonderfully made” and we ought to take good care of it during the limited time we have on this planet. I am also very interested in spiritual food as “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” Here I’ll be talking about tools I’ve learned and implemented in order to remain strong for life. A simple guideline of living healthy and independent life allowing for pain free moment and enjoyment of staying active.
Most of people would prefer to remain physically strong and healthy for life, but instead this generation becomes ever weaker, sicker and more dependent. I’ve seen it from my friends, family members and in the general public. Keep in mind that I haven’t always been so confident in my own body. I’ve spent years feeling the strain of injuries related to high impact sports, unhappy about pains in my joints that would prevent me from normal mobility. I’m no different mortal than you, there is nothing inherently special about me that allowed me find pain free and more resilient body. I simply decided one day that I was done feeling miserable and was willing to do what it takes to feel physically strong again.
My goal is to help as many people as possible to restore their true physical strength and become fitter and healthier with an virtual strength training. I also aim to reach more people out there that simply would like to train independently and I hope to provide the best up to date information on the topic of strength training in any environment with my blog / vlog. Also I want to share what I’ve been learning from the best in the field of High Intensity Training and many books that allowed me to deepen my knowledge.
